The Abyss Beside the Mahjong Table
The mother-in-law is obsessed with mahjong, locking her grandson outside the door, and the grandson falls into a deep pit while trying to pick up his toy car. To cover up her fault, the mother-in-law deceives her son, falsely claiming that the grandson is safe and sound. The son, upon learning the truth, is furious and sends his mother to a nursing home. However, the son discovers his mother's depression, and ultimately steps out of his fury to take a step of forgiveness, rebuilding the family amidst the fissures of kinship.

Per nascondere il suo errore, la suocera inganna il figlio, mentendo sul fatto che il nipote sia sano e salvo. Il figlio, venuto a conoscenza della verità, si infuria e manda la madre in una casa di riposo.
