Yunting Ancient Town possesses resources such as waterways, lantern workshops, and awning boats, but the attractions are scattered, making it hard for tourists to experience its culture. Returning youth Lin Qiao gets inspired by lantern frame projections and uses handmade lanterns as guides to connect the entire tour route. She collaborates with artisan Zhou Mingshan to improve the interactive lanterns: every time tourists finish a station, they move a wooden bead, merging everyone's bamboo curves into a public lantern. After testing and optimizing the route repeatedly, the team flexibly opens back-up corridors during rainy days to integrate rain scenery into the experience. Adhering to small-group slow travel and reservation limits, the project balances both ecology and residents' daily lives.
