At the Muxi River Lantern Festival in Muxi Town, Xu Qingyuan tends her humble lantern stall, handcrafting wind-resistant river lanterns with true devotion to hold ordinary people's delicate wishes. However, Su Wanying, who runs a stall of modern lanterns, plagiarizes her designs, undercuts her prices, and spreads slanders to turn the public against her. Fortunately, Shen Yanzhou, who understands craftmanship, steps up with hard proof to expose the deception. In the aftermath, the rival awakens to her wrongdoing, and both lay down their feud. Floating down the river, thousands of tiny lanterns carry humanity's modest hope for peace through the years.
