The Good-For-Nothing Medicine Apprentice Picks Up the Fallen Evil Immortal
Medicine genius Su Xieyue was framed by Elder Xuan Qing, accused of being a demonic practitioner, and severely wounded with soul-corrosive poison, falling in the back mountain. Lin Shi, a menial worker with zero spiritual roots, couldn't bear to kick her while she was down and risked his life to rescue her from the brink of death. Lin Shi obtained a demonic cultivation manual that shattered the shackles of spiritual roots, and the two fled together, surviving on residual medicine while gathering evidence of the wrongful accusation amid chases and betrayal. They stood against the oppression of power, tore away the hypocritical mask of the righteous path, and finally cleared their grievances, casting aside the prejudices of good and evil to forge a unique Dao path of their own amidst the green mountains.
