The Night Market Rises, Starting with Protecting the Shop Owner's Wife
A brother and sister run the lobster restaurant their mother left behind. The elder brother, a compulsive gambler, racks up a massive debt and flees, leaving the restaurant as collateral to Chen Feng, who had advanced the employees' wages. Unwilling to give up the old restaurant, the younger sister finds Chen Feng choosing to protect her. He repeatedly steps in to fend off troublemakers who come looking for a fight, gradually revealing his mysterious past.
