58-year-old construction worker Chen Jianguo scrimped and saved to help his son pay off a three-year mortgage, only to be kicked out of the house by his son and daughter-in-law on his birthday. With only 37.2 yuan left in his pocket, he unexpectedly won 8 million in the lottery. After the good news spread, his debt-ridden son knelt overnight begging for relief, his long-absent daughter opened her mouth to borrow 100,000 to open a shop, and villagers also came to his door demanding road repair money. He redeemed the old family house sold off by his son, but suffered one blow after another as his daughter pried open cabinets and his son forged a contract to swindle him out of 200,000. During the trial, his son's single cry of 'Dad' completely awakened him: money can buy back the old house, but it can never buy back true sincerity.
