The Flood Dragon at Qinghe Ferry
Chen Laoqi has ferried passengers across the Qinghe River for forty years. After a torrential rain, the old boatman discovers a black flood dragon named Ao Chuan beneath the bridge, bound for twenty years by a dragon-subduing rope. By helping him, Chen Laoqi becomes entangled in an old case involving the Qinghe Underwater Palace and uncovers the truth behind the flood five years ago and the deaths of Ahe’s parents. As the scarlet fiend beneath the river awakens and the seven channels spiral out of control, Chen Laoqi must rely on a battered boat and a water-cleaving blade to make this crossing to the end, through floodwaters and supernatural beings.

Après une pluie torrentielle, il découvre sous le pont Ao Chuan, un jiao noir retenu depuis vingt ans par une corde magique. En lui venant en aide, il se retrouve mêlé à une vieille affaire du palais des eaux de Qinghe et découvre la vérité sur l’inondation d’il y a cinq ans et la mort des parents d’Ahe. Alors qu’une créature maléfique rouge s’éveille au fond du fleuve et que les sept veines échappent à tout contrôle, Chen Laoqi doit, avec sa barque délabrée et sa lame tranche-eau, mener cette traversée jusqu’au bout, entre les flots en furie et les êtres surnaturels.
