Structural engineer Lu Yuan pours his heart and soul into securing an 8.8-billion-yuan project, only to be fired by his boss, Fang Zhiyuan, on the eve of the celebration banquet under the pretext that his proposal had been rejected. Lorsqu’un chantier de mauvaise qualité provoque une catastrophe mortelle, Lu Yuan avait lancé l’alerte à l’avance, mais ne parvient pas à empêcher la tragédie. Finalement, il traduit lui-même les responsables en justice et atteint le sommet de son secteur.
