While suffering from amnesia, Shen Jinnian regarded his younger brother as an imaginary rival and kept showering her with money to win her affection. However, when he unexpectedly regained his memory, he did not turn against her. Instead, he humbly begged her to stay. It turned out that beneath his cold exterior, he had secretly been in love with her all along. In the end, Wen Niansheng decisively called off her engagement and found her happily-ever-after with Shen Jinnian, the man who truly brings good fortune to his wife.
