Six years ago, deep within the imperial palace, a struggle for favor stirred up endless turmoil. The conflict between Noble Consort Xiao and the Empress resulted in the execution of many innocent embroiderers. Mu Jinxiu, younger sister of one of the embroiderers, saw through the inhumane rules and disregard for human life among the nobility. She resolved not only to avenge her sister but also to break those rigid rules and protect commoners' lives. Upon entering the palace as a low-ranking maid, Mu Jinxiu found an opportunity and won Noble Consort Xiao's favor through her intellect, earning a place in her palace. Upon entering, she immediately confronted the head maid responsible for her sister's death six years ago. Ruthless and precise, she used a long-planned death-trap scheme to send the head maid straight to hell. Having slain the wicked servant, she set the stage for a series of retaliatory plays against Noble Consort Xiao.
