Lin Jinyu devoted her entire life to her husband, Shen Tianqi, but after he became the imperial consort, he resolved to murder his wife. Falsely accused of adultery by the Shen family, Lin Jinyu was buried alive by Shen Tianqi. Rescued by a passing army, she enlisted among the ranks and, through sheer determination, rose to become the renowned General Lingyun. On the day she led her victorious army back to the capital, she went to the Shen manor to take back her daughter, only to be humiliated by the Shen family and the princess. There, she discovered her treasured daughter had been forced into concubinage by an aristocrat, living a life worse than death. Lin Jinyu vows to seek vengeance for her daughter and the injustice suffered ten years ago.
