Shen Ruolan lives a low-profile life for years as a sanitation worker, silently raising her daughter Lin Yuxi while concealing her identity as the chairperson of Shengshi Group, wishing only to give her daughter a secure and peaceful life. The class prejudice at her daughter's engagement banquet makes Lin Yuxi see her true inner desires, prompting her to voluntarily let go of the unequal relationship. Three adopted sons whom she helped in earlier years rush over upon hearing the news, and old friend Lu Ming also reunites with her.
