She Protects the Needle Tube And Refuses to Give Up Her Seat
On the high-speed train, she desperately protected her right sleeve and refused to give up her seat. She was photographed on the spot by an internet celebrity, cursed onto the trending searches for hogging a seat, pushing an elderly person, and faking illness. Overnight, she was human-fleshed by the entire internet, lost her job, and was driven out of her home, yet she did not say a single word of defense. No one knew that hidden under her sleeve was a newly inserted indwelling needle; no one knew that she was rushing to donate hematopoietic stem cells to save an unfamiliar six-year-old child. Even more no one knew that she could not speak because of a blind person's promise. Until that million-viewer live stream where a filial son signed for a seven-figure sum and smilingly told all his crimes, silencing the entire network. What she protected all the way was never herself.
