The Spoiled Heir - Season 1
Traveling through time to become Qi Ye, the notoriously disreputable heir of Prince You's estate, he faced a desperate situation the moment he woke up: within three days, his title would be stripped and he would be degraded to a commoner, with all civil and military officials kicking him while he was down. He originally planned to rely on the Ji family's engagement to secure his standing and survive safely, but the Ji family sent people to call off the marriage in public, and the servants humiliated the prince's estate guards openly. Facing relentless provocation, Qi Ye discarded his previous decadent demeanor, wielded a brass gong to fight back domineeringly, and established a code of conduct based on taking soft rice the hard way. Beneath his seemingly decadent and slacking exterior, he insightfully perceived the emperor's conspiracy to suppress the prince's estate; on one hand, he resolved various crises and paid off the wages within the estate, while on the other hand, he laid out plans step by step to reverse his fate, rising from a discarded good-for-nothing heir to stir up the capital's political winds.
