Letting You Be a Tour Guide, You Took People to Ancient Times
Lin Zhou is a down-on-his-luck tour guide who appears to be a stingy, sharp-tongued travel agency owner. In reality, he is a low-level outsourced employee of the Space-Time Administration. Driving a beat-up van, he uses the excuse of offering an "in-depth tour" to trick a sanda champion named A Fei, a tech enthusiast named A Jie, and a history-loving girl named Xiao Xue into joining his team. Together, they travel through the Qin, Ming, and Tang dynasties to repair historical anomalies. They disguise flashlights as heavenly thunder and use middle-school physics to bluff Qin Shi Huang; play footage of a prosperous age with a projector to persuade Chongzhen to face his death with composure; and use poems from the future to save Li Bai from falling into a path of killing. Amid absurd and hilarious adventures, this unreliable team protects China's cultural heritage while fighting time-travel smugglers intent on rewriting history, and witnesses the obsessions of an emperor for the ages.
