Photographer Shen Tong develops a crescent-shaped visual field defect in her right eye from staying up late editing photos, and is diagnosed with early-stage glaucoma by mysterious ophthalmologist Gu Mingshen. Gu Mingshen approaches Shen Tong under the guise of medical treatment, but is actually acting on orders from a rival pharmaceutical company to steal the patent for her self-developed "Dark-Light Imaging Technology." As the conspiracy surfaces, Shen Tong gets caught between the betrayal of her ex-boyfriend Zhou Ye, threats from medical equipment merchant Lu Xiao, and a game of frenemies with Gu Mingshen. Pushed to the brink of blindness, she uses light and shadow as her weapons to expose the dark truth of corporate manipulation in healthcare, ultimately achieving self-redemption and turning her technology into a public good to bring hope to countless patients.
