High school senior Jiang Zhichu moves in with the Xu family and ends up in the same class as the aloof Xu Jinnian. Though he keeps his distance at first, he secretly looks after her because her eyes closely resemble those of the person who once saved his life. Zhichu mistakenly thinks she is just a stand-in, only to discover that he is the very boy she rescued in the mountains when she was nine—it is not their first meeting, but a long-awaited reunion. Centering on two top students mutually drawn to each other, this story tells of a love kept close at heart that finally finds its echo.
