Inkstone Falls in Frost, No Ferrying Empty Boat
For seven years, Zhou Yan devoted himself to Shen Qiuyu, giving everything he had to help the Shen family reach the pinnacle of success. In return, she secretly carried on an affair with Lin Yuan, her first love, and even handed over the fruits of Zhou Yan's hard work to the Lin family. When the grand wedding turned out to be a deception designed to make him the unwitting groom in someone else's love story, Zhou Yan finally refused to tolerate it any longer. Before everyone's eyes, he exposed overwhelming evidence of her infidelity, severed all ties with seven years of false devotion, and reclaimed every asset. Shen Qiuyu, once arrogant and untouchable, fell into despair and knelt in tears, begging him to take her back. But Zhou Yan had already walked away with unstoppable resolve, leaving her empty promises to sink without ever looking back.
