In the 1980s, veteran Jiang Xiaotian and his family lived a frugal life stationed on a barren island. While beachcombing, they found Erya, an adorable girl blessed with lucky koi fortune. With a keen eye to spot seafood beneath the waves and a sweet childish voice that won everyone over, she became the darling of both the family and the entire island. Bringing abundant crabs, finding herbs that cured her adoptive mother's chronic illness, discovering pearls, and finding sweet spring water in the back hills, Erya's good fortune brought prosperity. Alongside her mischievous brother, candid aunt, gentle mother, and faithful big dog, the family worked hard to build a new house, buy a big boat, and turn their meager island existence into a joyful and prosperous life.
