Free Meal Delivery for One Year, They Say I Take Kickbacks
For a year, Shen Zhi'an traversed the campus every day, helping her roommates Li Yingying and Zhang Nan bring back food from the cafeteria for free. New roommate Lin Mengyao just moved in and was rejected when trying to freeload, so she falsely accused Shen Zhi'an of taking kickbacks. Her roommates turned against her, but Shen Zhi'an calmly refunded their money and turned to running a cafeteria meal pickup service, earning only a two-yuan errand fee. Out of jealousy, Lin Mengyao undercut prices to steal orders, and actually used expired and discarded cafeteria meals to cause food poisoning for the entire class. Surveillance footage revealed the truth, and Lin Mengyao was expelled and forced to pay a massive compensation. Sticking to her original principles and running her business steadily, Shen Zhi'an firmly stayed at the top of her class at the end of the term. Kindness has its limits, and tolerance has its bounds; her path forward has been bright ever since.
