On the day the Jingnan Marquis Manor was raided and seized, the father took his benefactor's daughter home, but personally sent his own daughter, Xiao Xi, up the mountain. Yong'an Temple was cold and desolate, home to the Grand Princess who had lost her daughter and descended into madness. Xiao Xi became the "A Jiao" she constantly called for, tasting long-lost maternal love amidst madness and tenderness. Yet her father came looking for her again, demanding that she yield her place and die. That night, moonlight spilled over the temple walls, and the Grand Princess reached out to shield her behind her back—some cherished her as a treasure, while others discarded her like a worn shoe. The long moon finally shone upon Xiao Xi, illuminating a redemption in the name of madness.
