Family Ties Under the Eaves
Lin Yue spent six years working tirelessly away from home, exhausting her savings to buy her parents a house for their retirement. But during New Year's Eve dinner, she discovers that her grandmother and her second uncle's family have moved in without permission and are even mistreating her mother, while her father stands by coldly. Furious, Lin Yue flips the dining table. She then discovers that her father secretly transferred the property to her second uncle. Taking her mother with her, she gathers evidence and successfully reclaims the house, sending her second uncle's family back to their hometown. However, the second uncle and his wife begin mistreating the grandmother, who has nowhere else to turn. Unable to bear seeing her suffer, Lin Yue's mother agrees to let her live with them. After all the turmoil, the family finally reconciles and reunites.

Sin embargo, durante la cena de Nochevieja, descubre que su abuela y la familia de su segundo tío se han instalado allí sin permiso y que, además, maltratan a su madre, mientras su padre observa con indiferencia.
