Old Oaths Turn to Ash, the Long Night Self-Navigates
Shen Lanzhi remembered that Xu Zhi had a weak stomach, yet allowed others to use her tears as drinking wine; her parents celebrated her safe return while smilingly reciting a bet on when she would lower her head. Xu Zhi once thought these fragmented acts of care were enough to prove she was loved. It wasn't until her belongings disappeared from the bridal room and the photo album was thrown away as trash that she packed her luggage and left that home that always brought her sorrow. Later, the old acquaintances searched for her with apologies, but she only wanted to finish tomorrow's proposal and go see the sea she had long yearned for. Old oaths turn to ash; through the long nights ahead, she will walk by herself.
