Wen Li, the heiress of the Wen Group, lost her sight in a car accident two years ago. Since then, she has lived with her husband Bai Kai and Su Jing, an adoptive daughter of her father. However, she gradually suspects foul play in the sudden passing of her father, Wen Zhiyuan, and realizes that the care shown by Bai Kai and Su Jing conceals sinister motives. A month ago, Su Jing pushed Wen Li down the stairs, which miraculously restored her vision. Deciding to play along, Wen Li continues to pretend to be blind while gathering evidence in secret. Using the basement as a trap, she lures Bai Kai and Su Jing inside and reveals that she has long regained her sight. Trapped in the collapsing basement, fear and desperation drive the scheming pair to turn against each other.
