In my past life, I abandoned my wife Li Wanting and ran off to the city to marry my first love Yang Chunxiang. Who could have imagined that Yang Chunxiang coveted my family's wealth, framing my father for corruption and bribery? Because of this, my father was executed with a peanut shell bullet. My mother and I were also implicated and sentenced to life in prison. Unable to bear it, my mother hanged herself from a branch in the prison. Just when I was at my most desperate, Li Wanting's five older brothers unceasingly gathered evidence and contacted superiors. After five years of hard work, they finally cleared my father's name. Upon my release from prison, I went straight to find Li Wanting. Five years had made me realize that the one I truly loved was that wholesome village belle who was completely devoted to me.
