The Last Table at Jinhai Restaurant
Su Wanning used her dowry to open a restaurant, but her sister-in-law Zhou Yuwei treated it as a free canteen, eating and drinking for free worth 480,000 in three months. Her husband's family advised her, "You're a family, don't sweat the small stuff," and she endured it. Until Zhou Yuwei splashed a bowl of hot soup on her face and her husband still asked her to yield to his sister, she finally understood that forbearance does not bring gratitude, only continued blood-sucking. So, she quietly transferred the ownership of the restaurant, and let Zhou Yuwei order up to 1.68 million at her engagement banquet. When the banquet dispersed, the bill went to the new shop owner, and her marriage also came to an end. She opened another small shop and started anew.
