The Down-and-Out Man Commands the World
Chen Shu, the second of the Chen brothers, was treated unfairly and grew up neglected because his parents favored his siblings. He spent his entire life being timid and submissive. On his deathbed, he discovered that his wife had betrayed him, that his son was actually the biological child of his cousin Chen Long, and that all the family wealth he had worked so hard to accumulate had gone to Chen Long. When Chen Shu wakes up, he finds himself reborn ten years in the past. He decisively cuts ties with his biased parents and divides the family assets. He deliberately exposes the pregnancy of his wicked ex-wife, Qian Fang, who is carrying Chen Long's illegitimate child, bringing shame and disgrace upon her. He then takes revenge on Chen Long and his outrageous family, who had tried to force him to give up his first love through rumors so Chen Long could take Qian Fang as his own wife. He also defeats his elder brother Chen Feng, who stole his business ideas, poached his employees, and snatched his suppliers. Using his experience from his previous life, Chen Shu builds his own company and takes on Chen Feng's powerful father-in-law and his entire family.
