One Test, Makes My Family Ruined
To find out whether his wife was after his money, He Tingchuan conceals his trillion-yuan fortune, pretends to be poor for three years, and sets up a "gold digger test" with his childhood friend, Chu Mingjiao. Believing he has already arranged medical coverage for his wife and son, he has no idea that Chu Mingjiao has secretly withheld the life-saving funds. His critically ill son misses his chance for treatment, while Shen Xinyao, suffering from terminal stomach cancer, dies in poverty and despair. Only after the test ends does He Tingchuan discover that his wife never betrayed him. His own arrogance was what destroyed his family. Overwhelmed with remorse, he publicly presents the evidence during a livestreamed wedding, sends Chu Mingjiao to prison, relinquishes his inheritance, and gives away his entire fortune to establish a relief fund, spending the rest of his life trying to repay a debt that can never truly be made right.
