Qin Tian was stripped of his position as young master due to blocked meridians and was dumped by his fiancée. Feeling disheartened, he gained the legacy of the remnant soul of the Qin family patriarch. He broke through the Qi Condensation realm, crushed his enemy Qin Li, and beheaded the grand elder, while his sister was taken away by the Fire Cloud Sect. Later, he headed to the imperial city to break off engagements, made the acquaintance of Bai Niannian and Hu Yuyao during his trials, became a disciple of Hai Zhuqing, and acquired the Heavenly Book legacy. The academy forced a kill, and the patriarch beheaded a Heavenly Venerate with a single sword; the Ye family deployed a formation to slaughter the city, and Qin Tian burned his bloodline to break the formation and slay enemies. In the end, his father Qin Zhan appeared to clear the siege, and Qin Tian aspired to walk towards a broader world.
