In a fantasy scriptwriting competition, a screenwriter writes a fantasy story about Xiaotian, an underachieving second-rate demon hunter, who meets Xiaoqi, a kind and lovely cat demon, and Jincheng, a handsome ghost desperately searching for his wife. Despite having their own goals, the three join forces to look for opportunities to do good deeds and help Xiaoqi achieve immortality. Gathering together under the principle of "if good deeds won't find us, let trouble come to us," their Magic Grocery Store officially opens. In solving various challenges, the three build a deep friendship, revealing the warmth and coldness of human nature through a series of hilarious yet touching tales of helping others, while achieving their own growth and transformation.
