The first season of Mystical Gate Feng Shui Grand Master. In the early years of the Republic of China, Li Jinshan, the chief feng shui master of the late Qing dynasty Imperial Board of Astronomy, was reduced to destitution on the streets, where he was saved by the wealthy merchant Chen Tinghai. Half a year of hospitality turned out to be nothing more than an elaborately planned scam. To validate his Daoist heart and repay the debt of gratitude, Li Jinshan, knowing full well it would incur heavenly retribution, still pointed out the fate-defying 'Lotus Pond Holding Children Acupoint' for him. Only after becoming blind did he realize he had not only become an accomplice, but also awakened the fierce malevolence slumbering deep within the earth's veins. Decades later, his great-grandson Li Chengfeng reopened the Suiyuan Hall, and the karma that should have been severed was rewritten once again.
