Twelve years ago, the young Emperor Xiao Rui met the Xu family's young daughter who excelled at playing top, and due to a slip of the tongue by the Empress Dowager, he mistakenly remembered the Marquis of Zhenyuan's style name, "Qingci," as a girl's given name. Years later, he issued an imperial decree to marry the Marquis of Zhenyuan's second daughter, Xu Jingyi, causing a blunder by shouting the wrong name on their wedding night. Amidst their chaotic and bickering interactions, the two fell in love before marrying—oh wait, married first and fell in love later, joining hands to punish the wicked. The dashing and fierce eldest Xu daughter, Xu Xian, also found a romantic bond with the Prince of Lian, and both pairs of lovers finally attained a happy fulfillment.
