In a small village in the 1990s, Chen Amei takes care of her three children while running a grain-processing workshop, using her hard work and wisdom to make their lives lively and fulfilling. Five-year-old Panpan is clever and considerate, always wanting to help Mom shoulder the burden, though often getting into amusing little mishaps along the way.
