As her Alzheimer's disease worsens, Yu Min decides to travel to Switzerland for assisted dying, driven by her daughter Shen Qingya's long-standing neglect of their family bond and constant excuses that work keeps her busy. Quietly, she has her will notarized and prepares everything her daughter will need in daily life. But when she wanders off during an episode of confusion, her daughter loses her temper and harshly blames her. Ultimately, Yu Min sets off alone on the night of the Lantern Festival, a night meant for family reunions. Shen Qingya misses her mother's farewell because her boyfriend's family gets involved.
