Beyond the Final Verdict of the Yonghe Era
Shen Yan died in the celestial prison in the eleventh year of Yonghe, still clutching the unsubmitted volume of factual records in her arms. When she opened her eyes again, she had returned to ten years prior. A book titled "History of Great Liang" appeared in her mind: whenever she glanced at someone, a line of text floated above their head, a posthumous final verdict given by future generations. Who framed her father in the second year of Yonghe, who ransacked the Shen family household in the third year of Yonghe, and who stepped upon the corpses of her entire family to become a senior official of three reigns—it was all written clearly in the history books. Excellent. Following the history books, she would send the deserving people away one by one.
