After returning to his hometown, Lin Feng unexpectedly gains the ability to understand animals' thoughts. He rescues a hungry little hedgehog and builds a warm nest for the mother and daughter hedgehogs. To repay his kindness, the hedgehog voluntarily helps Lin Feng clean his courtyard. That night, the mother and daughter venture into the mountains and unexpectedly bring back a white tiger cub as a "cushion" for Lin Feng, frightening him so much that he quickly contacts the village chief. The chief gathers the villagers and rushes over, but the mother white tiger follows the cub's scent down the mountain, leaving everyone terrified. At this critical moment, Lin Feng realizes that the mother tiger is suffering from unbearable itching caused by a tick bite on her neck. Ignoring the danger, he approaches and uses a bamboo pole to scratch the itchy spot. Rescata a un pequeño erizo hambriento y construye un nido cálido para la madre erizo y su cría. Para agradecerle su bondad, el erizo se ofrece a ayudar a Lin Feng a limpiar el patio. Por la noche, la madre y la cría se adentran en las montañas y, para sorpresa de Lin Feng, regresan con un cachorro de tigre blanco para regalárselo como "cojín".
