You Call Me Heartless: I'm Done Buying Your Black Goats
Lin Feng spent ten years and everything he had to help his hometown sell its black goats at a good price. He sold his luxurious city home and invested over four million yuan in building a high-end cold-chain facility, offering to buy the villagers' goats for an unusually generous 32 yuan per jin. His sincere efforts to help the villagers of Linjia Village escape poverty were repaid with greed and betrayal. Incited by a troublemaker from their own clan, the villagers surrounded his trucks and demanded higher prices, refusing to acknowledge the actual costs and insisting on squeezing his profits. His heart completely turned cold. In front of everyone, Lin Feng tore up the contracts, withdrew his investment, and decisively abandoned the Linjia Village market. He then turned to help the remote, impoverished Shiwa Village, funding road construction and providing free breeding goats and technical assistance. He established strict livestock-raising standards and guaranteed a minimum purchase price of 50 yuan per jin.
