In order to find his deceased wife, Heavenly Emperor Shang Que renounced his imperial throne. After undergoing a hundred lifetimes of reincarnation, he finally met Su Wanxin, a young girl bearing the imprint of his old friend, on Blue Star where mechas and exotic beasts contend. However, she remembers nothing of her past life and simply treats him as a strange classmate. From the campus to coast defense, and from juvenile brawls to ten thousand beasts knocking on the gates, Shang Que relies on a single immortal sword to tear open the maze of cultivation in the mecha age. When the dormant ancestor Zhu Yuan awakens, he finally finds his beloved, but he will once again face a life-and-death choice.
