Orphan Su Mo poses as the true heiress of the Gu family in place of her best friend, only to discover that the eldest Gu son, Gu Jie, is the ex-boyfriend she cruelly dumped two years ago. Gu Jie sees right through her disguise, protecting her on the surface while secretly setting traps to make her confess. As the fake heiress schemes against her, the father acts partial and harsh, the mother secretly protects her, and the younger brother becomes her loyal follower. Su Mo thinks everything is under control until a DNA test exposes her identity before everyone. Only when Gu Jie's questioning text arrives does she realize that from the moment she entered the Gu family, she had already fallen into his carefully planned game.
