Roommate Qin Yao disdained her online boyfriend Liang Jibai for being overweight and forced Wen Yu to take her identity to meet him offline. Seeing bullet-screen spoilers from the plot, Wen Yu learned that Liang Jibai would turn extraordinarily handsome after losing weight, so she agreed to meet him. Wen Yu accompanied and encouraged Liang Jibai to lose weight. Along the way, Liang Jibai developed genuine feelings for her; in fact, he had long discovered the truth about the identity swap but chose to keep it secret. Having successfully shed the weight, Liang Jibai firmly stood up for Wen Yu at the university gala. Qin Yao tried to step in and win Liang Jibai back using old chat records, but Liang Jibai exposed her with evidence. In the end, Liang Jibai confessed his love to Wen Yu, starting a sincere romance, while Qin Yao faced the consequences of her own actions.
