Fifty-year-old full-time housewife Ye Caihua discovers her husband is having an affair, and her own son even helps the third party force her into a divorce. Using tax evidence to trade back the property, she leaves with nothing and rents a small room, picking up her paintbrush again to set up a street stall selling art. Her senior martial brother Chen Mo recognizes her and helps her return to the art world.
