Half a Lifetime to Wake Up, May You Find Shelter
As Li Anjie lies gravely ill, on the brink of death, she discovers that the younger siblings she sacrificed everything to support are unwilling to even pay her medical bills. The anguished cries of her son as his leg was amputated and the news of her husband's suicide by hanging echo in her ears. Overwhelmed by guilt toward her husband and son, she takes her own life. Reborn, she publicly tears up the script of being a sister who endlessly sacrifices for her younger brother! She takes the money she had saved for her nephew's studies abroad and puts it toward her son's surgery, turning the hard-earned money she once sent to her birth family into startup capital. When her biased mother insults her, she strikes back, locking her younger brother in a haystack and publicly executing him after he attempts to drug and frame her, only to be killed by her instead.
