The air around the dry well is always filled with a chilling sense of being watched. The village chief and Choudan discover a foul, decaying slime clinging to their rabbit trap, and a dark shadow flashes through the woods as an eerie dread spreads. When they approach the dry well, a wailing roar suddenly echoes from deep within. Choudan bravados by urinating into the well to taunt it, but pebbles begin rolling behind them—as if something is stalking in their footsteps. While fleeing, Choudan trips over a bizarre rag doll, identical to the one by the trap earlier. A spine-chilling laugh rings out from the shadows.
