After accidentally losing her sight, Shen Zhiwei runs a midnight diner, relying on positive reviews from customers in exchange for a chance to regain her vision. Little does she know that the regulars who come every day for instant noodles, beef noodles, and plain porridge are actually great demons living in seclusion in the city—such as a nine-lived cat, a nine-tailed fox, and a Kui ox. She insists on taking numbers, queueing up, and paying for breakages, yet with a single bowl of hot food, she rekindles the long-lost taste of the mortal realm for these demons. As her sight returns, Shen Zhiwei uncovers the secrets of her guests. Meanwhile, the Demon Council secretly amplifies the monsters' feral nature, stoking conflict between humans and demons. When the entire city falls into crisis, can this lady boss, who only ever wanted to run her diner well, protect her diners and this warm corner of humanity?
