In the twelfth year of Yongxi, during a heavy snow, the border called up troops for conscription. To gather money to save her critically ill family, Liu A-yu enlisted and became an army medicine woman. The green-robed scholar Shen Nanyin was the most awe-inspiring military strategist in the camp; he was cold by nature and a germaphobe who never allowed anyone to get close. Just when Liu A-yu was being harassed by bad people and driven to a desperate situation, he actually stepped forward to beat back the bad men and protected her behind him. No one knew that this encounter had long been the concern he kept hidden deep in his heart for years. The two joined hands to expose General Pei's conspiracy, cleared her father's wrongful death, and finally spent the rest of their lives together amidst the fragrance of medicine.
