Millions to Alleviate Poverty by Growing Ginseng, Yet Raised a Pack of Ungrateful Wolves (24 episodes)

Lin Xiao invested millions to help an impoverished village cultivate premium ginseng, signing a guaranteed minimum buyback agreement at 10,000 yuan per half-kilo. When harvest time arrives, blinded by greed, the villagers tear up the contract and extort him with an exorbitant markup. Prepared for betrayal, Lin Xiao turns to buy from a neighboring village instead. The greedy villagers attempt to livestream and sell the harvest themselves; however, improper storage leads to mold and spoilage, triggering a food safety crisis. Ultimately, they face massive breach-of-contract penalties, break the law, and end up bankrupt and behind bars.
