Mistakenly Entering the General's Mansion, The Cold-Faced General's Heart Was Flustered
Gu Wantang, a widowed woman whose husband died, suffered harsh treatment from her mother-in-law. Just as the Mansion of the Great General Suppressing the North was looking for a suitable person to care for a lonely, young child suffering from asthma, she was brought into the mansion due to her gentle and meticulous nature. Because he witnessed his mother die in difficult childbirth when he was young, General Pei Yanzhi harbored a knot in his heart, distancing himself from human warmth for many years. During their time together, Gu Wantang attentively cared for the little child, understood the trauma beneath Pei Yanzhi's cold and hard exterior, and slowly dissolved his fear with gentleness and goodwill. The two withstood the difficulties and probes from others, ran towards each other, and built a secure home for the little child, bringing warm fireworks back to the lonely general's mansion step by step.
