My mom and I traveled through time together. I became the lowest-ranking novice palace maid in the Laundry Bureau, spending every day scrubbing the entire imperial palace's chamber pots and washing palace robes with my bare hands. My mom, meanwhile, became the empress dowager who commands respect throughout the realm and rules from behind the imperial curtain. She's now the most powerful person in the palace. If I can get in touch with her, I'll enjoy a life of luxury and become the most privileged second-generation heiress imaginable!
