My Village, My Team: No Mercy in Slapping the Boss in the Face
When programmer Lin Feng takes leave because his grandfather is critically ill, his boss, Zhao Peng, publicly humiliates him and fires him. To make matters worse, he discovers that his girlfriend has betrayed him, leaving his life at rock bottom. Just when he has nowhere left to turn, he unexpectedly inherits a fortune worth hundreds of billions and becomes the richest man in China. Rather than indulging in a life of luxury, Lin Feng returns to Dahuang Village to fulfill his grandfather's dying wish. He builds a school and roads and establishes a local agricultural products cooperative. But the Zhao Group resorts to every dirty trick imaginable to suppress him, from blocking roads and spreading rumors to stealing ginseng and setting fires. Standing shoulder to shoulder with village official Su Wanqing, Lin Feng leads the villagers in fighting back and transforms Dahuang Village into the number one village in the country. After Zhao Peng is arrested, the mastermind behind the scenes, Zhao Tiancheng, finally emerges. An even more dangerous battle is about to begin.
