Riding a Tricycle to Collect Junk, Pulling a Chairman Back to the Village
Group chairman Pan Jiayin, in order to screen for a sincere person, deliberately disguised himself as an impoverished, physically inconvenienced, lonely old man, intending to go on a blind date with the identity of an ordinary person. By a stroke of luck, Pan Jiayin met Ji Yanzhen. She relied on roaming the streets to collect junk to make a living, single-handedly and laboriously raising her daughter to grow up. Living a poor life, she had a bright and feisty personality, yet her heart was exceptionally kind and warm, treating people sincerely, and never despising the poor and currying favor with the rich. Seeing the 'old man' lonely and helpless, Ji Yanzhen often lent a helping hand. This pureness touched Pan Jiayin who was hiding his identity, and the two slowly developed mutual affection, who would have known that trials would follow one after another.
